Ann Gilligan has worked as a freelance artist since graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Fine Art from Bretton Hall College in 1989 and set up Green Monster Arts in 1995

Her quirky, imaginative and inclusive approach to art has led to a successful career in public and community arts in a variety of schools and public spaces

Ann uses lots of workshop techniques to get schools and communities designing art for their environment.

She turns there ideas into permanent durable artworks in lots of materials including stone, metal mosaic, and thermoplastic floormarkings

Ann has also got lots of experience in marketing and publicity, evaluation and report writing, liaising with council departments and other professional

and voluntary organisations and developing funding applications.
