This Monkey Business project involved a long series of workshops with two popular local youth clubs. The workshops were carefully planned so that the youngsters directly contributed to the content of the designs for the six seats, twelve special fence panels and four archway entrance features that were produced for the new park. The workshop programme included a fact-finding visit to Quarry Bank Mill (working museum), where the young people learned about mill life in the late nineteenth century, as well as the opportunity to explore a wide range of art and craft techniques.
